Serenity Square
Take a moment or two to sit back and reflect…
Serenity square is a currently a work in progress, with the end goal being a nice relaxing area for children to sit and enjoy life. We have had a donation of £1000 from the wonderful Rotary Club of Dronfield to get us started and we look forward to inviting them to our official opening soon!
Our planters have kindly been constructed by the charity, One Planet Matters, and as shown on the plan, will contain an assortment of flowers for a burst of year-round colour!
Our furniture has been sourced from a local company called TDP. TDP only uses UK plastic waste for their products, meaning our benches and tables will be made from 100% recycled materials. Our PTFA have also recently made a very generous donation to help us buy even more furniture, which should be arriving soon.
Children have been very involved in the brainstorming of serenity square and have had their say in everything, right down to the colour of the furniture! Their fundraising efforts will help to buy the outdoor bean bags which we will be putting out when the weather improves.
