OPAL Play

We are excited to announce that our school has just embarked on our OPAL Play journey. This is a primary play programme, which is endorsed and supported by Sport England and runs in hundreds of schools across the UK.

At our school, OPAL play is all about giving children the freedom to lead their own play. Through exploring, being creative, and enjoying our outdoor spaces, children learn in fun and meaningful ways every day.

When children choose how they play, they develop important life skills like problem solving, imagination, teamwork, resilience and building friendships. These skills help them grow into confident, happy learners.

We believe that outdoor play is more than just fun - it boosts children's well-being and support their learning in the classroom too. OPAL play makes a real difference!
